This Is my presentation about Saint Patrick. I chose St. Patrick because he is the patron Saint of Ireland.

Testing Week.

This was a very busy week with all the testing.  I think I did pretty good in my maths, I think I am at my national standard. In my reading I felt like I have tried my hardest to archive. Today in my spelling test I did  pretty well. My score was 54 out of 100.

Maths.

My learn: I am learning how to make different shapes with only 7 pieces.

My learning intention for maths is....

• I can order fraction with different denominator.

What was the book about?

This book is about Emily Emerald fairy can’t see the future in pools without her magic jewel. When Rachel and Kirsty start catching glimpses of the future, they realise the emerald can’t be far away.

What did you like about the book?

The part that I liked about the book is when they entered the toy store and they saw different kinds of amazing toys. They even saw a golden cat, sitting on the pyramid of soft toys.

What was your favourite part of the book?

My favourite about this book is when this story showed me about the fairy land.  All different kinds of amazing places. they even showed us about the fairyland palace, and Rachel’s house,the buttercup farm, and even  Jack frost ice castle.

The Saint Pius X Cross Country is a sport event, it is a long  distance run. Each students must have their age number in their hands, Cross Country is a fun sport for most Saint Pius Student we all gathered up in the court.

This year Saint Pius X change a bit of the cross country, we usually let the  juniors go for their cross country first but this year the seniors went first. We got in our lines in front of the office and wait for Ms G to clap the wood then we can run.

When Ms G bang the wood together, we all ran down the hill then turn left. We ran pass Melling street then up the hill, that was the biggest and the longest hill I been too.

At the end of the hilled I stop to rest, then I walked half way then I tried to catch up with others. The best part of the cross country for me is going down the hilled. When I got to school I went to Mrs Williams and record what place did I come. But it turns out that I came first in the 13 years old.

Humans/Animals

Today Room 7 talked about the difference between Animals/Humans.

Learnt that humans and animals have similar things in common, we just do things differently. But there  just one things that we have that animals don’t have, we have our soul-Spirit. We also spoke about why we go to church  to empty all that hatred inside of our soul that is not necessary. We empty all that out because all that is necessary is to love one another. Exactly the same Gods loves us.

Swimming Pool

Room 7 didn't get to swim until week 6. Friday 14 June room 7 was so excited for swimming, we got in two groups year 7 and 8 just to see how good we are at swimming then we can get in to our main groups. The year 7 got into the pool first, then the year 8 stood outside the pool. The pool was bigger the last last year but it’s a bit cold. Time ran out for the year 7, the got out of the pool carefully than the year 8 got inside. We climbed up the stairs, then turned around and go backwards into the water.

Splash! Splash! in the water having fun  and enjoying ourselves. We learn a few lesson inside the water. We practice freestyle and we even tried holding our breath under water.. I had an amazing exiprenerenes in the water, and learning how to swim. Can’t wait to swim again.

I have light brown eyes and black curly black hair.  I have light brown skin and pink cheeks,  I am a very kind person and also funny because I make my friends laugh.  I love to listen to my teacher talking and smiles a lot.  I like to listen to music while doing my homework because it make me think.  I am a very shy person because I don’t like standing in front of people talking .  I am a bit annoying and very loud , I am well-dressed and I am grateful to others. I love being me because I am so special.

My father is so special, he has brown eyes like mine and black short hair he is tall and a very funny person because he loves to make people laugh.   sometimes it’s easy to spot him when he is frowns or happy.  When my father  speaks is easy to notice his expressions, because he always frowns.

He is always smiles when he is happy, and he is always serious when his worried.  My father is a very kind man but he just don’t show it a lot.  He is the kind of person that is interesting to listen,  my father is a great man but also a great dad.  When he hugs me, I feel warm and loved, his hard skin becomes a soft thing, he loves to jog around the neighbors. he is the perfect dad for me.  

My favorite things

I am learning to describe my favorite things.

My hobbies is listening to music and drawing. I like to listen to music in the car, sometimes when I get bored I drawer different kinds of things, like faces, trees, and people. Drawing makes me feel calm. I had been listening to music  for a long time, I started doing nice drawing when I worked with Mrs Tui in Religious Education. `

Science Experiment

Method:  First I got a bag and a pot and some seeds. I put soil in the pot and I put the seed's in. Then I zip the bag.

Result: After 4 days.

Conclusion: On Mrs Ringwood's one she planted it and lifted her bag open and after four days I saw some leaves starting to grow.

When I planted my seeds with my group we closed the bag and lifted it after four days we all looked at the plant and nothing worked.

God gave me the greatest mum in the world. My mum is so special because she loves us so equally. Sometimes, I can be a pain, but I know she will still love me no matter what happens.  I know my mum loves me,  because she takes care of me when I'm sick and she makes us lunch for school. My mum is so special. She is more important than anyone or anything else in the world. I will love her until I die. I love mum with all my heart.

The sacrifice

Today Saint Pius X school went to the to celebrate the Passion and Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross for our sin, I thank Jesus for dying  on the cross for me.  Today at mass we played an act about Jesus died on the cross  to save so many peoples lives.  I was one of the ladies that stood  beside Jesus when he carried the heavy cross, There was Mary, Veronica and I.  I was the other ladies who stood beside Mary. Veronica washed Jesus face with a towel and she stood beside us, When Jesus walked past us and we started to cry I tried to cry but nothing work.

The other part was how Jesus raised from the dead we ran to tell the villages and a angels appears from know where and he said “he is not there he is raisen from the dead”. WE have to act like that we were scared so we ran back again.

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday 13 February 2013.

This morning the whole school went the the church for the opening mass.  Room 7 people came and hang their bags and went to the church straight away and wait for the other classes to come in, I was really nervous for my first reading.  We have a new priest in our school his name was father Loane, we stood up and sang beautifully even the reader read beautifully with a big smile on her faces.  We sat back down and waited for father to talk to us. He talk to us about where he come from and everything about himself, the readers went to the front and read and we all respond. It’s time for the final hem we got up and sing and father went outside and waited for the people to come outside and he can shake people's hands.

Triathlon

In the last two days Room 6 and 7 line up to  go to field for triathlon practices.  We saw all the pikes, cones and flags. Room 7 went  running first, and Room 6 went biking, Room 7 got in two groups.   Room 7 was ready to run first we raced each other then it’s was my turn I feeled so nervous because it’s my first time doing triathlon, I ran as fast as I could and I made it to the cones and do three stars jumps then we raced back again, it’s was so tiring after every ones turn, we got up and do 10 star jumps again.

Then we ran again, we ran to the end of the cones and ran back it’s was the most tiring thing that I had ever done. Then our time was up we have to switch we went biking, the biking was even harder we raced to the end of the fence and race back to get our bike. I got on my bike and I put on my helmet and paddled as fast as I could It’s was so tiring I came and parked my bike and I put my helmet on the ground. I had a really amazing experience learning about triathlon. Tomorrow we all gonna race all the way to the end but the fun part is we are gonna have a  water slide it’s gonna be soapy and slippery, I can’t wait to slide it’s will be fantastic

shared lunch

Today we all went and got our soul friends and went to the field for our shared lunch.  My soul friends name was Ana-Lisa she is in Room 5, she is Tongan like me.  We all gather up in the field, so we can share our lunch with our soul friend,  I shared my launch with Ana-Lisa. The Mrs Tuis took some photos of us eating, It’s an awesome day to have our shared lunch.
